EA announced that “APEX Legends” will no longer support the Linux operating system, including Steam Deck using Linux. EA developers said that dropping support for Linux is part of the company’s broader efforts to maintain “honest competition” and crack down on cheaters: “We have identified the Linux operating system as an avenue for various impactful exploits and cheats. . Therefore, we have decided to prevent Linux operating systems from accessing the game.
