Second-year junior high school student Hideichi Kushimori (Kazuya Ninomiya) lives with his mother Tomoko (Kumiko Akiyoshi) and sister Haruka (Anne Suzuki). Hideichi’s father died in a car accident a long time ago, and his mother remarried to Takashi Sone (Kansai Yamamoto) ten years ago, but this marriage ended prematurely because of Sone’s violent tendencies.
國中二年級學生串森英一（二宮和也飾）與母親智子（秋吉久美子飾）和妹妹遙（鈴木杏兒飾）住在一起。秀一的父親早已因車禍過世，母親十年前與曾根隆（山本寬齋 飾）再婚，但這段婚姻卻因曾根隆的暴力傾向而過早結束。
