The play is adapted from Teng Xiaolan’s novel of the same name. It is set in a metropolitan financial city and shows a fierce battle between bank rookie Tao Wuji (Bai Yufan), branch vice president Zhao Hui (Yu Hewei) and audit director Miao Che (Wang Xiao) over interests and original intentions. In this battle between love and law, Tao Wuji gradually grows into a new generation of guardian of financial order.
本劇根據滕肖瀾同名長篇小說改編，以大都會金融城為背景，展現了銀行新人陶無忌（白宇帆飾）、支行副行長趙輝（於和偉飾）以及審計負責人苗徹（王驍飾）之間圍繞著利益與初心的一場激烈對決。在這場情與法的較量中，陶無忌逐漸成長為新一代金融業秩序的守護者。
